Lights, Camera, Action — Tell Stories That Matter
The Media Division introduces youth to the exciting world of film, television, podcasting, and digital storytelling. It blends creativity with technology and equips students with real-world media production skills.
The Media Division empowers students to become content creators, not just consumers. Youth learn the fundamentals of storytelling through film, video editing, podcasting, digital journalism, and more. Using state-of-the-art equipment and hands-on training, participants develop real-world skills in media production while exploring issues that matter to them. This division also collaborates with other departments to capture and broadcast Progressive Theater events, creating a professional portfolio for students and visibility for our work.Â

By giving youth control of the narrative, we help them develop confidence, communication skills, and professional media portfolios that can open doors to college programs, internships, and industry jobs.
