Step Into the Spotlight — Build Confidence On and Off the Stage
Progressive Theater’s Theater Division offers young people the chance to develop their performance skills, express themselves creatively, and gain stage experience in a supportive, inclusive environment.
The Theater Division of Progressive Theater is the heartbeat of our mission, where creativity, self-expression, and storytelling come to life. Through workshops, productions, and mentorship, we equip youth with the tools to act, write, direct, and produce their own stage performances. Whether it’s a classic play or an original script developed by our students, our theater programming cultivates confidence, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts. Each season culminates in live community showcases that give young voices a powerful platform to shine.
Our Theater Division helps students step into the spotlight and discover their voice, whether on stage or behind the scenes. It’s a space to explore acting, directing, and the magic of live performance.

Youth Benefits:
Our Theater Division helps young people find their voice—literally and figuratively. Youth learn the art of performance while also developing public speaking skills, emotional intelligence, and self-confidence. Many students gain valuable experience for college theater programs or professional acting opportunities, while others simply discover the joy of storytelling and expression.
